Global League Terms & Conditions

  1. Organizer and Applicability
    • These terms (the “Promotion Terms”) govern the Global League promotion (the “Promotion”) on 888poker.com (the “Site”). The Promotion is organized by the 888 contracting company defined in your applicable User Agreement.
    • By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms and the Site’s User Agreement.
  2. Eligibility
    • To take part, participants must:
      1. Be residents of, and physically located in, a territory where 888poker accepts wagers.
      2. Hold an active account with the Site.
      3. Be at least 18 years old or the legal gambling age in their location (whichever is greater).
    • Participants located in Northern Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan are not eligible. In addition, players located in Romania (RO) are not eligible for this Promotion.
    • Only one entry per household, per computer terminal and per mobile device is permitted.
  3. Promotion Format
    • Qualys Freerolls: Three freerolls will be held each week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Fifty (50) tickets to the weekly tournament will be awarded per freeroll, totaling 150 tickets weekly. Participation may require completing social‑media actions (e.g., following 888poker, liking and replying to a post) to receive the password.
    • Monthly Tournaments: Four tournaments will be run each month (every Sunday). Each has a $5.50 buy‑in and is held on Sunday; $1,000 GTD each = $4,000 per league.
    • Leaderboards and Points: A monthly leaderboard will track points earned in the tournaments. Standings will be updated before and after the Final Table. The league will publish weekly updates and a final monthly leaderboard featuring the top 25 players.

Scoring System

Each player’s score is determined based on their finishing position in the tournament and the total number of players who participated in that same tournament.

The player finishing in 1st place will receive a number of points equal to the total number of participants in the tournament. The player finishing in 2nd place will receive one point less, the 3rd place two points less, and so on, until the last-place finisher receives 1 point.

Example:
If a tournament includes 400 players, the player finishing 1st will receive 400 points, the player finishing 2nd will receive 399 points, and this continues down to the player finishing 400th, who will receive 1 point.

At the end of the League, the total score from all tournaments combined will determine the final leaderboard. The top 20 players with the highest accumulated scores will be declared the League winners.

Participation bonuses:

  • Any player who plays all 4 monthly tournaments earns +50 extra points toward their overall standing.
  • Each week, a contest will be held on 888poker’s official Instagram page, where 5 winners will receive 50 points each.
  1. Prizes
    • Monthly Prizes: by the end of each league 888poker will calculate all points for all participants and prizes will be distributed to winners:

1st place: Live Event package to an event of their choice

2nd place: Live event entry

3rd place: ME ticket for online series of their choice (up to $250 ticket)

4th place: 1 on 1 session with an ambassador of their choice (up to 30 minutes session over zoom about any subject of their choice)

5-10th place: $109 ticket

11th–20th place: 888 poker pack including: 888poker backpack, hat & cards deck

  1. Tickets will be credited within 14 days of the Promotion’s completion unless stated otherwise. Winners may be contacted to provide their Site username/Support ID and full name; failure to respond within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the prize.
  2. Tournament‑ticket conditions: Tickets cannot be used for re‑buys or add‑ons, cannot be combined to create a higher‑value ticket, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred. Each ticket has an expiry date; unused tickets expire when the promotion ends or on their individual expiry date.
  3. Ambassador 1-on-1 Session Prize
    The 1-on-1 session prize entitles the winning player to a 30-minute virtual meeting via Zoom with an 888poker Ambassador of their choice, subject to availability.
    The session topic may be related to any subject the winner chooses (e.g., poker strategy, career insights, or personal development); however, the winner must notify the 888poker team in advance regarding the chosen topic to allow the Ambassador sufficient time to prepare.
    The winner is required to attend the session on time at the scheduled date and hour agreed upon with the 888poker team. Failure to attend or significant delay (over 15 minutes) may result in forfeiture of the prize without compensation.
    The winner must conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner throughout the session. Should the Ambassador, at their sole discretion, deem the winner’s behavior to be disrespectful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, the Ambassador reserves the right to terminate the session immediately, and the prize will be considered fully redeemed.
    The session may not be recorded, broadcast, or shared publicly without the prior written consent of 888poker and the participating Ambassador.
  4. Merchandise conditions - Each winner who won the 888poker pack will receive an official 888poker merchandise pack (“the Pack”), includes one 888poker backpack, one 888poker hat, and one deck of 888poker playing cards.

To arrange delivery, winners must provide the following personal details within 14 days of being notified of their win: full name, complete delivery address (including ZIP/postal code), and full contact information (mobile phone number and email address).

The Pack will be delivered to the address provided by the winner within 3 months from the date of their win. Once shipped, a tracking number will be sent to the winner. 888poker shall not be held responsible for any delays, failed deliveries, or loss of the Pack resulting from incomplete, incorrect, or outdated information provided by the winner. Winners who fail to submit their details within 14 days will forfeit their right to receive the Pack.

  1. Password Distribution and Conduct
    • Passwords for freerolls will be distributed via direct message to followers who meet the social‑media engagement requirements. The Promotion is not sponsored or endorsed by Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
    • Participants must not post abusive, offensive or illegal content; 888poker reserves the right to disqualify entries deemed abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.
    • Social‑Media Posts: 888poker will publish multiple weekly posts announcing freerolls, tournaments, winners and leaderboard updates.

  1. General Conditions
    • Prizes may not be redeemed for cash or transferred.
    • Any fraudulent activity will result in loss of prizes and possible account termination.
    • Participants grant 888poker and its suppliers the right to share personal details to administer prizes.
    • If an account has been closed, taken a break or self‑excluded prior to the event to which a prize relates, the player is ineligible and will not be compensated.
    • 888poker may cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion for security, legal or abusive‑behaviour reasons.
    • Participation constitutes acceptance of these Promotion Terms and the Site’s User Agreement.
  2. Regional Leaderboard Contest
    • As part of the 888poker Global League, a Regional Leaderboard Contest will run concurrently with the individual player rankings.
    • In this contest, each player’s earned points will also contribute to their country’s total score. The combined points of all participating players from the same country will determine that country’s position on the Regional Leaderboard.
    • The country with the highest total number of points at the conclusion of the League period will be declared the Winning Country.
    • All eligible players who represented the Winning Country (i.e., players whose registered country of residence was included in the total points calculation for that region) will receive an exclusive invitation to a $2,000 GTD Closed Freeroll (the “888poker Global League Regional Winner Freeroll”).
    • The 888poker Global League Regional Winner Freeroll will be available only to the eligible participants from the Winning Country, as determined by 888poker at its sole discretion.
    • Players are encouraged to participate actively throughout the League to increase their personal ranking as well as their country’s cumulative score.
    • 888poker reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each player and the accuracy of their registered country of residence prior to awarding any prizes related to this contest.
  1. Governing Law
    • These terms are drafted in English; if translated, the English version prevails.
    • All times and dates referenced are GMT.
