The seventh day of the $7,500,000 XL Inferno Championships saw another 13 events play out.

“JDiass99” Wins 888poker Crazy 8s for $16,919
Without a doubt, the highlight of the day was Event #86 $88,000 Crazy 8, an $88 buy-in tournament that drew 722 players and created a $90,480 prize pool. After 11 hours and 21 minutes, the Netherlands’ “JDias99” emerged victorious to capture a $16,919.76 first-place prize.
Brazilians have has a great deal of success in the XL Inferno, and on Saturday ““liincownz” proved himself no exception. After finishing eighth in the Event #1 $0,000 Opening Event for $3,136, “liincownz” made another deep run finishing runner up in the Crazy 8 for $12,241.80.

Alexandru “alexos888” Baron Finds Redemption
On Day 2 of the XL Inferno series, Canada’s Alexandru “alexos888” Baron came close to taking down the Event #18 $15,000 Breeze title. Unfortunately for him, he ended up finishing third out of 467 players, good for $2,393. Fast forward five days and Baron found redemption.
That’s because after just three hours and 11 minutes he finished as the last man standing in Event #90 $15,000 Turbo Crazy 8, $55 buy-in tournament that attracted 249 players and created a $15,700 prize pool).
Baron, who took home $3,179.25 for the win, is perhaps best known for finishing 11th in the EPT13 Barcelona Main Event last year, good for a career-high $111,335.

Day7 XL Inferno Champions
Day 7 of the XL Inferno crowned 13 more winners, each of who locked up a seat into the XL Champion of Champions tournament. Thus far, 89 seats have been awarded for that event which will see three lucky winners receive packages to the 2017 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Day#8 – Get Ready to Tune Up Your Game!
Sundays are always big days for online poker enthusiasts, and the eighth day of the XL Inferno Championships is no different as 16 different events are on tap. Among them are both deepstack and turbo events.
Among the premiere events on Sunday’s schedule is the $215 buy-in Event #94 $150,000 Mega Deep at 16:30, $160 buy-in Event #97 $200,000 Tune Up at 17:00, and the $600 buy-in Event #100 $200,000 Whale at 18:80.
Late in the evening, the $55 buy-in Event #105 $30,000 Turbo Tune Up and $75 buy-in Event #106 $10,000 Super Turbo Tune Up will kick off at 20:00 and 21:00 respectively.
At 15:35, there will also be a $160 buy-in Mega Satellite to the Main Event, one that is guaranteeing 15 seats!
