From June 19-26, 888poker held another unforgettable poker experience in the form of the “Summer Sale Week” featuring slashed buy-ins in multiple tournaments.
Players could play for half the price while competing for incredible, guaranteed prize pools with a staggering $300,000 up for grabs.
When all was said and done, the series catered to a combined 11,327 entries and awarded $347,480 in prize money.
- Players from Brazil and Ukraine fared the best with four titles apiece,
- Lithuanians accounted for two.
- Single titles went to players from Malta, Canada, Ireland, and Peru.

edtastylez92 Victorious in $100K Mystery Main Event
The series culminated on Sunday, June 25 with the $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event. That tournament usually costs $109 to enter. But, because of the “Summer Sale,” it was just $55 this week while still keeping the six-figure guarantee.
As a result, 1,608 players rebought 433 times, which created a $102,050 prize pool.
The top bounty of $10,000 went to “Fackedelic”, who finished in 16th place for $260.25. Along with some other bounties they walked away with a tournament-high payday of $10,590.47.
Meanwhile, $3,000 bounties went to both Nicolas “PKaiser” Fierro (86th place for $98.89 plus $3,115.11 in bounties), and “fhoffmann1” (136th place for $78.07 plus $3,038.37 in bounties).
The regular prize pool was dispersed to the top 320 finishers, and among those to make relatively deep runs were the following –
- “Happynose” (50th place for $119.71 plus $1,176.74 in bounties)
- “Heronville” (37th place for $130.12 plus $1,176.74 in bounties)
- “pactamah23” (31st place for $140.53 plus $491.85 in bounties)

- Final table bubble “LucaDoncic” (10th place for $442.42 plus $153.48 in bounties)
The final table went on an overnight hiatus before returning on Monday to play down to a winner with the action live streamed.
It didn’t take long for a winner to emerge when “edtastylez92” defeated Brazil’s “Bender_Rod” in heads-up play to claim the title and $6,788.29.
Along with $898.81 in bounties, that brought their total payout up to $7,687.10.

Two Summer Sale Titles for Ukraine’s eko4gg
There was only one two-time winner during Summer Sale Week, and that distinction belonged to Ukraine’s “eko4gg”.
On Tuesday, June 20, the $11 buy-in, $10K GTD Summer Sale Mystery Bounty 22 had 791 players rebuy 395 times. This number created a 1,186-entry field, easily surpassing the guarantee by creating an $11,960 prize pool.
The top bounty in that tournament, which was $1,000, went to Vietnam’s “mostafa.E14”, who also finished in 93rd place for $18.52. Along with some other bounties they walked away with a total payday of $1,026.97.
This payday was second only to “eko44gg”, who after eight hours of play took down the tournament for $1,062.46 plus $116.07 in bounties for a total payout of $1,178.53.

Three days later on Friday, June 23, “eko4gg” was back at it, this time in the $11 buy-in, $7,000 GTD Summer Sale PKO Rumble 22. This tournament drew 649 players who rebought 167 times.
The 816-entry field resulted in an $8,160 prize pool that was paid out amongst the top 88 finishers.
The final table was had four Ukrainian players, including “eko4gg”. Along with “oyvindbe” each secured $656.88 in prize money by virtue of making it to heads-up play.
However, there was a robust $592.02 PKO bounty up for grabs.
After nearly seven hours of play, “eko4gg” emerged victorious to win a total of $1,249.14 in prize money and their second title of the series.

On Thursday, June 22, the $160 buy-in, $12K GTD Summer Sale Big Shot 320 had 84 players rebuy 23 times. This number cruised by the guarantee and offered up a $16,050 prize pool to the top dozen finishers.
Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were the following players –
