There were plenty of players who took home five-figure paydays from online tournaments at 888poker over the weekend. The top dog among them was 'Lov3ThiSGamE', who parlayed his $215 entry in the $100,000 Mega Deep into a $17,705 payday after a three-way deal.

'Lov3ThiSGamE' was one of two Germans to make the top five of the Mega Deep this week, the other being 'Imyurfriend', who took fifth place for $6,102 and also final tabled the 888poker Baby Whale this week. 'Lov3ThiSGamE' also finished second in the 888poker $70,000 Sunday Crocodile earlier this year for over $14,000.

Second place in the 888poker $100,000 Mega Deep went to Canada's 'MyLilPwny', who cashed for $15,792 as part of the chop. This was his largest score on 888poker to date, beating out a $9,177 cash for taking second in a Super XL event in January of this year.

The final member of the three-way deal in the Mega Deep was Poland's 'dulek_jason', who earned $15,035. He has had plenty of success on 888poker before, including a second place finish in the Sunday Challenge, a second place finish in the Mega Deep, and a Super XL Series victory.

'LetheGuard' Wins $60,000 Sunday Challenge

The Sunday Challenge was anything but a challenge for Russia's 'LetheGuard', who took down the $90 buy-in tournament with one optional rebuy and earned $10,720. Just like in the Mega Deep, there was a three-way deal. And in fact, 'LetheGuard' didn't come away with the most money; that distinction went to Serbia's 'Kuconi1', who made $10,912. It was both players' largest scores on 888poker to date.

'BriIliant' Wins 888poker Baby Whale for $16,196, Third

The payday for 'BriIliant' in the 888poker Baby Whale held over the weekend was anything but baby. In fact, 'BriIliant', who was one of two players from the UK to finish in the top three, earned $16,196 for the win in the $70,000 guaranteed tournament, which carries a $320 buy-in. It was his largest score to date on 888poker.

A week after final tabling the Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event in Barcelona, 888poker pro the most accomplished online poker pro in history, took third in this week's Baby Whale for almost $9,000. Moorman is over $13 million in career online tournament winnings, according to PocketFives, and continues to pile on cash after cash on 888poker.

Sixth place in the Baby Whale 'Imyurfriend', who also took fifth in the Mega Deep over the weekend. 'Imyurfriend' has had a ton of success on 888poker before, with past wins in the Super XL Mega Deep for a commanding $35,344 and Turbo Mega Deep for $20,644. We're confident he's looking forward to this weekend's big tournament slate on 888poker already.

Urmo Velvelt Wins 888Live Tallinn $30,000 Guaranteed Main Event

Eighty players turned out for the 888Live Tallinn $30,000 Guaranteed Main Event, which wrapped up over the weekend on the live circuit. Estonia's Urmo Velvelt was the winner and took home an even €9,000.

"I got really lucky and all my flips held," Velvelt told PokerNews after his big win. Heads-up, he beat Sergei Oganesjan after the two began even in chips.

The top four finishers in the Tallinn Main Event were all from Estonia. The country continues to churn out poker talent, and according to the Hendon Mob, its all-time money leader is Madis Muur, who has $755,000 in career live tournament winnings.

"Tallinn is a beautiful city," said 888poker pro Kara Scott, who attended the event. "It's my first visit to Estonia and I've been excited to get here ever since the 888Live event was announced."
