It goes without saying that there will be a lot of celebrating in our winner’s household in light of the recent big win. However, there is a more productive and rewarding way that she plans to put her winnings to good use.
“I’m going to leave work (occupational therapist specialising in hand therapy) to take care of my mother who has Alzheimer’s. It was the first thought that popped into my mind; I can finally care for her and get help to care for her.”
But, of course, there are happier days ahead for her as well:
“I want to go on holiday to India in the New Year. My husband wants to go to Barbados.”

“I’ve played this game a lot, and it is good, ‘cause I’ve won, I’ll rate it a 5. I also play poker.”
In regards to poker, she stated that she usually plays low stakes and is by no means a “shark”, nor does she consider herself a “good player”. She plays for fun and does not have the confidence to play at the higher stake tables, adding that her husband is a “much better poker player.”
