After almost eight years of ambassadorship, Kara Scott’s incredible run as an 888poker ambassador has officially ended. Kara joined the 888poker team of ambassadors in February 2016.
Since then, she has flown the flag at many 888poker LIVE events worldwide and created unmatched poker-related content for the company.

Kara started her poker journey as a broadcaster, featuring on Sky Poker, Sky Television, High Stakes Poker, GSN and Poker Central. The highlight of her career as a presenter has been her regular spot on the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas every year.
Once she joined the 888poker stable, her skills as a presenter were even more impressive as she interviewed and commentated her way across the poker world.
Kara’s 888poker Journey
During her time with 888poker, Kara Scott became the go-to host and was heavily involved in much of the company’s web content.
She was the featured host of the monthly 888poker Brief news show and launched the exceptional Heart of Poker podcast.
In addition to her experience as a presenter and broadcaster, Kara has skills on the felt. She finished runner-up in the €3,500 Irish Open Main Event in 2009 for €312,600. She also made deep runs in the 2008 and 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Events.
As an 888poker ambassador, she won the €220 Ladies Event at the 888poker LIVE Barcelona festival in June 2019.
Career with and Life after 888poker
This is what Kara had to say about her poker career with 888poker:
"My time with 888poker has been a real pleasure. When they [888poker] first approached me all those years ago, it seemed like such a natural choice to work with them, and I was so happy to jump in”, Scott said.
"They’ve always been supportive of me personally, and my work, and I have so much good to say about all the people I’ve worked with."
Regarding her workload, she raved about the opportunity 888poker gave her to be exercise her creativity. And even though poker may be on the back burner for a short while, Kara still has a lot more poker in her future!
