Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions (the “Promotion Terms”) of the Social Media Contests" promotion (the "Promotion") for www.888poker.com (the “Site”).

The Promotion is organized by the 888 contracting company defined in the applicable User Agreement that governs your account with the Site ("888poker", "us" or "we" or "our").

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms and the applicable terms of the User Agreement.

Promotion Terms

1. In order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must:
   1. be resident and located in a territory where 888poker accepts wagers via the Site;
   2. have an active account with the Site; and
   3. be at least 18 years of age or the legal age for gambling in the territory in which you are located, whichever is greater.
   4. players located in Northern Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan cannot participate in this promotion.

2. Individuals that meet the eligibility criteria set out in paragraph 1 above are each referred to as a "Participant" and collectively as "Participants" in these Promotion Terms.

3. To be eligible to take part, the player should:
   1. Contests on Twitter
      1. Follow the relevant 888poker account organising the Contest/Promotion and make their Twitter account public.
   2. Contests on Facebook
      1. Follow the relevant 888poker account organising the Contest/Promotion.
   3. Contests on Instagram
      1. Follow relevant 888poker account organising the Contest/Promotion.

4. The Contests/Promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, or managed in any way by Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, and are not associated with these companies. By participating in these Contests/Promotions, the Participant acknowledges that their personal details may be used by 888poker for promotional purposes.
5. The mechanics of the contests:
   1. This Promotion contemplate a contest whereby 888poker will tweet, post or announce on any of its social media accounts, or any of the company's ambassadors, influencers or affiliated accounts, some kind of action that will be requested from the entrants. In those posts, the specific mechanics of the Contest/Promotion, the prizes, number of winners along with the winner selection process will be detailed.
   2. The winners' accounts will be reviewed and, in the event of identifying fraud or an abusive conduct, the prizes will be awarded to another Participant.
   3. Only one entry per user per Contest is allowed, otherwise the user will become ineligible for receiving the prizes.
6. 888poker reserves the right to exclude from the Contest/Promotion the author of any comment that is considered: (i) abusive; (ii) defamatory; (iii) slanderous; (iv) bully; (v) insulting; (vi) offensive; (vii) profane; (viii) threatening; (ix) damaging; (x) discriminatory, whether based on age, race, ethnicity, creed, nationality, religion, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, physical disability or any other factor; (xi) obscene; (xii) promoting harassment or violence; (xiii) violating any law, rule or directive; (xiv) promoting hatred; (xv) false or misleading; or (xvi) politically sensitive or controversial.
7. Prizes cannot be exchanged, redeemed for cash (in whole or in part), or transferred from a Winner to any other person, for any reason (including if a Winner is unable to use the Prize).

8. If a Participant is found to have posted an answer/reply that breaches the terms and conditions for content shared on Facebook/ Instagram/ Twitter (or that is in any way deemed offensive or inappropriate), he/she shall not be eligible to win a Prize.
9. Tickets will be granted to eligible winning players within 14 days of Contest completion unless otherwise stated. Following such grant, winners might be contacted by a representative from 888poker, requesting their usernames/Support IDs on the Site and complete names and surnames to be provided if the same is missing. If the winners do not reply to this request within 48 (forty-eight) hours, their prize will be forfeited.

General Terms

10. Participation in this Promotion is limited to: (i) one entry per household; (ii) one entry per computer terminal; or (iii) one entry per mobile device.
11. If you have a pending message on the Site’s cashier regarding your recent gaming activity, we may revoke your eligibility to participate and/or continue to participate in this Promotion. In such event, any bonus and/or other benefit which you have received and/or are eligible to receive under this Promotion, shall be forfeited by you.
12. All times and dates used in these Promotion Terms are in GMT.
13. We will not be responsible for any tax liability associated with the Prize. The Winner is solely responsible for recording, paying, and accounting to any relevant governmental, taxation or other authority for any tax or other levy that may be payable in relation to the Prize.
14. We do not endorse any deals whatsoever in any tournaments and as a result will not be held responsible or liable for settling any private deals made between members.
15. All Site fraud and collusion rules apply. Any fraudulent activity will result in the Winner losing his/her Prize and the Company reserves the right to take additional action against such Winner, which may include but not be limited to termination of the Winner's account, as well as disqualification from this Promotion.
16. By participating in this Promotion, each participant grants 888poker and any third-party vendors providing any services in relation to the Prize, the right to provide his/her personal details to such third-party vendor in order to facilitate the provision of the relevant items comprising the Prize, to the extent such participant is a Winner (as set out above).
17. If a players’ account with the Site has been closed, "taken a break" or self-excluded at any time up until the event to which the Prize relates takes place, he/she will not be eligible to participate in such event and shall not be reimbursed for the value of the Prize or otherwise compensated.
18. All bonuses and promotional offers, and any winnings generated through the wagering of either of the aforesaid, will be cancelled at withdrawal if any of the applicable conditions have not been met in full.
19. These Promotion Terms have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these Promotion Terms and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
20. 888poker may cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion, and any of the bonuses or benefits offered hereunder, where required for security reasons, to comply with applicable law or regulation, due to abuse or otherwise where the promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified as a result of exceptional circumstances. Other than where necessary to prevent fraud or other similar unlawful behavior, any such cancellation, modification or suspension will not apply to you if you have already opted into the Promotion, made a deposit in expectation of receipt of a bonus or other benefits offered, and/or commenced taking part in the Promotion prior to the date of the communication of the cancellation, modification or suspension.
21. You hereby agree to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion, along with the applicable "User Agreement" that governs your account with the Site, which includes but is not limited to the "Bonus Policy” referenced thereunder.
22. Withdrawing funds: for further information on how you can withdraw funds from your account, please see our "Withdrawal Policy" incorporated under the above referenced User Agreement. For UK players - your deposit balance (defined as Transaction Balance under the Withdrawal Policy) is available for withdrawal at any time. General withdrawal terms apply.
